Returns Policy

    Returns Policy is committed to providing products of high quality and value, and we back this commitment with a satisfaction guarantee. If you purchase an item from us that for any reason fails to give complete satisfaction, you may return it to us for an exchange or full refund so long as it is new and unused, and in its original packaging. Returns on batteries may take longer as the part will need to be tested prior to a refund being made.

    The following products may NOT be returned:

    • Special orders
    • Custom golf clubs
    • Personalised items

    Product/s that were purchased and delivered with a promotional Free Gift With Purchase must be returned with that Free Gift to receive a full refund for the original item purchased. If the Gift is not, or cannot be, returned, the value of that item will be deducted from the refund.

    Returns must be completed within 30 days of your receipt of the merchandise.  If you purchase an item and then do not unpack or fit it before the 30 days are up, you will not be able to return the part to us. All return shipping charges must be prepaid unless purchase qualified for Free Returns. We will not accept return items shipped to us C.O.D. Please follow the instructions on the packing slip, note the reason for your return and enclose the slip in the original shipping carton. If you do not have your packing slip, please include a separate piece of paper containing your printed name and address, email address, order number, your order number and the reason for the return or exchange.     Returns and exchanges are accepted only for items purchased from Refunds will be applied based on the original method of payment. A refund cannot be made if the item is not returned to us or is lost or damaged in the post on the way back to us. In these cases, the customer will be encouraged to lodge a claim with their courier or delivery company. For this reason, we recommend all customers use Royal Mail Signed For Delivery (or a courier, if the item in question is large).

    If a customer is eligible for a refund of return postage, this will be made up to Royal Mail Signed For or the original service used (if different). Refunds for expensive or express services cannot be authorised. Please do not use these services unless you are willing to cover the extra cost.

    Please do not post us cheques to cover any outstanding costs for exchanges. Any cheques posted to us cannot be cashed, and will be securely destroyed. We are happy to take payment for exchanges by PayPal, online payment or telephone payment.


    Defective Products

    Any product thought to be defective may be returned anytime while still under the manufacturer's warranty period and will be inspected by one of our Powakaddy trained engineers. If found to be faulty, they will be replaced or the cost refunded. We regret that no refund can be issued if a customer is not able to return a part. Customers are responsible for the part.

    Battery manufacturors require that the charger used be returned with any battery thought to be defective, in order to test the battery. The charger will be returned with the item. Batteries thought to be defective that are returned without the charger cannot be forwarded to the manufacturor for testing. This doe not affect your rights to return an unused battery.

    Any warranties are held by the manufacturer, and not by Electric Trolley Spares. Therefore, all warranty claims submitted to us are decided under the manufacturer's guidelines and not at our own discretion.

    If a customer breaks a spare while fitting it, or afterwards in an accident with the trolley, this is not considered defective. Please do not attempt to return these items to us as we cannot post them back to you again.


    Warranty Claims

    Warranty claims are subject to the discretion of the original product manufacturer. Warranty information is included with many manufacturers' products, or may be found on their respective web sites. The guarantee is non-transferable and is only available to residents of UK and Eire (ROI). Customers living outside UK/Eire (ROI) should contact their retailer or local distributor.


    Re-conditioned Items

    Any second hand and re-conditioned items do not come with a manufacturer warranty unless otherwise stated. This does not affect your 30 day right to return unused and unwanted goods. will supply a twelve month warranty on all re-conditioned spares.



    Many orders ship in multiple cartons and may arrive days apart, so check your packing slip before calling us to report a shortage. All claims for shortages must be made with the carrier within 10 days of the invoice date.


    Damaged Goods

    If an item reaches you in damaged condition, save the shipping carton and the goods, and notify by email. All claims for damaged goods must be made within 10 days of the invoice date. A refund will be made once the part has been identified as damaged. Electric Trolley Spares may request either photographic evidence or a return of the item, depending on what is requested by the courier in question. Return postage, if required, will be refunded (up to First Class Recorded or the original service used if different).


    Incorrect Parts

    If we make an error and send you the wrong part, save the shipping carton, return the goods and notify at once by email. A refund will be made or a replacement posted once the part has been received and identified as incorrect. The return postage charge will also be refunded.


    How to Return Merchandise

    Products may be returned to To return an item to our warehouse we encourage you to re-use your original shipping carton. Please follow the instructions on the packing slip, note your name and the reason for your return, and enclose the slip in the shipping carton. If you do not have your packing slip, please include a separate piece of paper containing your printed name and address, the order number and the reason for the return or exchange.     It is essential that you put your name in or on the package, otherwise we cannot process the return. Anonymous returns will not be processed unless the customer in question can be identified conclusively. We cannot issue refunds for parts that do not reach us, and customers will be encouraged to make a claim with the relevant courier in these cases.

    If you wish to claim back your return postage costs, please post the item First Class Recorded, or equivalent service if you are abroad or the item is too large. Postage costs will be refunded up to this level, where eligible. Please be aware that we do-not send out pre-paid address labels.
